Earthing & Grounding Techniques | Energy Healing |Guided Meditation



Grounding is an energy healing technique for reconnecting your auric field to the earth. It is good for those days when you feel out of control. Here's some simple signs that might mean you need to do a quick grounding techniques exercise:

 

· Feeling irritable, spacey or scattered

· Finding yourself unable to focus on day to day tasks

· Nervousness or nervous energy

· Feeling overwhelmed

· Crying for no reason

· Feeling like your emotions are controlling you

· Forgetting to do important things

· Having a hard time organizing yourself or your life

· Experiencing chronic anxiety

 

“An electrical device is “grounded” when it is connected to the ground in a way that allows excess energy to leave the system. We are:

 

PHYSICALLY GROUNDED when we can feel our connection with the Earth and carry ourselves (posture, movement, awareness) in a manner that is in harmony with the Earth’s gravitational pull.

EMOTIONALLY GROUNDED when our energies and emotions move through our physically-grounded body freely and are wholesomely discharged through our cells, our breath, our thoughts, & our actions.

SPIRITUALLY GROUNDED when a physically-grounded body and an emotionally-grounded mind are in harmony & alignment with one another and with “spirit” (the animating force within living things).

Techniques that align your energies with the force field of the Earth and allow your energies and feelings to move freely through your body.”

Reconnect to the Earth

While the research on grounding for your health and well-being is relatively new, the practice is timeless. Past societies went barefoot or wore leather footwear made from hides that allowed the energy from the Earth to rise up into their bodies. They were grounded.

Here’s the bottom line: You have lost your electrical roots, so to speak. You’re disconnected, and this disconnection may be a seriously overlooked cause of human pain and discomfort and the steeply rising incidence of chronic illness worldwide.

The good news is, you have the potential to reconnect. Weather and schedule permitting, go barefoot for a half-hour

or so outside and see what a difference that makes on your pain or stress level. Sit, stand, or walk on soil, grass, sand, or concrete. These are all conductive surfaces from which your body can draw the Earth’s energy. Wood, asphalt, and vinyl are not conductive.

Ideally, you want to sustain the Earthing experience incorporate this healing energy into your daily routine.
