Ways to Get Through Tough Times In Life ?

“Tough times don’t last, but tough people do. And I’ve been through some tough times, and I know a lot of people can recall tough times, and maybe are going through some tough times right now, but they don’t last.” — Alonzo Mourning

Moving forward in life helps you to avoid stagnation. It allows you to maintain your pace, without being lured away by the various temptations of life. Similarly, the willingness to move on helps you to explore new opportunities where other people see only problems. By doing so, moving forward helps you to stop complaining about the struggle and makes you actively do something about it.

  1. Make small reachable goals: Do not burden yourself with goals that are too far-fetched or difficult to attain. Take one step at a time. Focus on how you can break your long term goal into small targets and focus on the one at hand.
  2. Appreciate yourself: Celebrate small victories for they bring you a step closer to your ultimate goal. Focus on your positive qualities and things that you have done well for they will help you stay positive.
  3. Engage in things that you like to do: Spend your leisure time in things that interest you and keep you motivated. Focus on your hobbies and spend at least 15-30 mins a day engaging in those activities.
  4.  Change your body language: Our body language has a lot of influence on the way we feel or think. Therefore whenever we find ourselves losing confidence a change in our posture can really be helpful. Some examples of powerful postures are: leaning back with hands behind the head, standing with legs wide open with hands on your waist.
  5. Change your environment: A lot can be changed if we change our environment. Positive people emit positivity and negative people emit negativity. Therefore to keep yourself motivated it is important that we stay with people that are positive.
  6. Self-talk: Sometimes we have a lot of thoughts running in our mind which makes the situation complicated. In a situation like this, we can engage in self-talk by saying out loud the things that are bothering us and go one by one. These talks are helpful when they focus on the positives and when one believes in themselves. Sentences like “I can do it”, “I will figure this out”, “This seems to be attainable” are motivational lines that should be emphasized on.
  7. Stay healthy: The more you take care of your physical health, the better would be your mental state and in turn your performance. Therefore focus on your eating and sleeping habits, keep yourself hydrated, go out for walks, and get fresh air. Fresh air gets you more oxygen that makes the brain more productive.

How to Nurture Self-Love: A Guide to Embracing Yourself Fully

Self-love is more than just a trendy concept—it’s a fundamental part of a fulfilling and happy life. When you nurture self-love, you build a stronger relationship with yourself, enhance your well-being, and improve your interactions with others. But cultivating self-love isn’t always easy, especially in a world that often emphasizes external validation. If you’re on a journey to embrace and nurture self-love, here’s a guide to help you along the way. 1. Practice Self-Compassion Self-love starts with self-compassion. We often criticize ourselves harshly for our mistakes or perceived flaws, but would we treat a friend the same way? Probably not. Speak to yourself with kindness and understanding. Acknowledge that mistakes are part of growth. Let go of perfectionism and embrace your uniqueness. Next time you catch yourself being self-critical, pause and reframe your thoughts as if you were encouraging a close friend. 2. Set Healthy Boundaries Loving yourself means protecting you...

Healing Your Inner Child: A Journey to Self-Discovery and Wholeness

In the hustle and bustle of adult life, we often forget the child we once were. That child, with their dreams, fears, and vulnerabilities, still resides within us. This is what we call the "inner child"—a part of our subconscious that holds the memories, emotions, and experiences of our younger selves. Healing the inner child is a transformative process that allows us to reconnect with our authentic selves, address past wounds, and cultivate a sense of wholeness. ### What Is the Inner Child? The inner child represents the part of us that is playful, curious, and full of wonder. However, it also carries the pain, unmet needs, and unresolved emotions from our childhood. These experiences, whether they stem from neglect, trauma, or even seemingly minor incidents, can shape our beliefs, behaviors, and relationships as adults (Bradshaw, 1990). When the inner child is wounded, it may manifest as self-doubt, fear of abandonment, difficulty trusting others, or a tendency ...

How To Relieve Constipation Natually

Constipation can often be relieved naturally by making certain lifestyle changes. Here are some tips to help overcome constipation: Increase fiber intake: Eat a diet rich in fiber from fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and nuts. Fiber adds bulk to the stool and helps it move through the digestive system more easily. Aim for 25-30 grams of fiber per day. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Sufficient hydration helps soften the stool and promotes regular bowel movements. Avoid excessive intake of caffeinated and alcoholic beverages, as they can contribute to dehydration. Exercise regularly Engage in regular physical activity to stimulate the muscles in your intestines and promote bowel movements. Even a daily walk or light exercise can be beneficial for relieving constipation. Establish a routine: Set aside a specific time each day for a bowel movement, preferably after a meal. Establishing a regular routine can help train your body to have consistent bow...
